Jennifer Lopez cancels her summer tour

Jennifer Lopez has canceled her North American tour planned for this summer, Live Nation representatives confirmed to the Associated Press. “Jennifer is taking time with her children, family and close friends,” they said in a statement.


The singer’s first tour in five years was supposed to begin June 26 in Orlando, Florida, and end in Houston on August 31. A stop was planned at the Bell Center in Montreal on August 5. Live Nation said fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster would be automatically refunded.

“I am completely devastated and devastated that I let you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t think it was absolutely necessary,” Jennifer Lopez said on her website and in her OntheJLo newsletter.

She promised her admirers that she would make it up to her. “I love you all so much. See you next time… “

The series of shows followed the release of the album This Is Me…. Nowreleased 20 years after his successful album This Is Me…Then. Jennifer Lopez told the AP that the new album, which was accompanied by a musical film, was a “miracle” and a “second chance” for her.
