Jean-Luc Reichmann this time publishes a chilling video

Five years after his death, Bastien Payet has not always obtained justice. On March 10, 2019, this 23-year-old student and singer was quietly returning home when he was beaten to death by three men in the streets of Reims. After an investigation, three suspects were arrested and two of them remained in pre-trial detention for a year and five months, while the third remained for a few more months.

Today these three men are completely free, the investigation completed but no trial date has been set. Enough to push Bastien Payet’s family to demand justice through the opening of a trial. “When I do my shopping, maybe they are next to me, I don’t know. Why they would deprive themselves of doing it again, since nothing happens behind them. It’s been five years since Nothing is happening. They certainly have their own quiet little life, I don’t know and I don’t want to know. They risk being shown to us as nice little boys who keep to themselves. Only, they killed my son, he exactly five years ago” declared Frédérique Couturier, Bastien Payet’s mother.

Devastated by grief and furious at this lack of action, she continues: “We are all extremely shocked, my life is completely destroyed. I lost my job and I am on disability, I lost my health, I lost my only son, I lost everything”.
