Jean-Luc Reichmann tackles Paul El Kharrat and Émilien at the same time in “Les 12 coups de midi”

Four years after the arrival of Paul El Kharrat, suffering from Asperger’s syndrome, on the set of “12 strokes of noon”, Jean-Luc Reichmann has found a new champion who continues a formidable epic in his midday show. This is Émilien (7th in the ranking), who has appeared since September 25, 2023. And this January 24, 2024, he surprised everyone by correcting the authors of the game. To the point where the host compared him to Paul, aka Wiki Paul (4th in the ranking).

“So, that’s it, he’s going to do us a Paul”

He had to answer the question: “Who is a famous scientist?” and choose between Pierre-Gilles de Gennes and Gottfried Leibniz. And he declared: “Well actually I tell myself that both are good”. Astonished, Nathalie Lecoultre’s husband exclaimed: “So, that’s it, he’s going to make us a Paul (who also had this habit, editor’s note), he’s starting to have the Paulite”. Émilien indeed explained: “Pierre-Gilles de Gennes received the Nobel Prize 91, that’s good, but Leibniz is a philosopher and at the same time a scientist. Infinitesimal calculus is his and I think it can fit into the field scientific quite widely therefore…”

“He has just given one, Émilien, to all our teams”

After confirmation from the authors backstage, Jean-Luc Reichmann was obliged to grant him the point. He even declared: “Well we accept and we apologize, because from time to time it’s very very good“. And to add: “Émilien has just given one to all our teams, but above all it’s really very, very good to have said it. We applaud Émilien and we stand up for Émilien. But yes Émilien, me I say well done, personally. It is indeed very fair to accept your answer”.
