The Prime Minister and the Minister of Agriculture are expected in Tarn-et-Garonne this Tuesday afternoon, probably in Negrepelisse. Jean Castex and Julien Denormandie come to support farmers still affected by frost since Saturday. They are expected from 15h on a farm whose name has not yet been revealed.
The Tarn-et-Garonne is the first department producing apples in France and this episode of frost could be “worse than last year”declared on France Bleu Occitanie Yannick Fraissinet, apple grower in Albefeuille-Lagarde in Greater Montauban and member of the Chamber of Agriculture of 82.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Jean Castex promised aid for farmers affected by this cold snap.
