In Alsace, Jade and Leon were the most given first names in 2021. There were 116 births of little Jade and 118 little Léon according to statistics released by INSEE. Jade comes first in the two Alsatian departments in Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin. Léon, on the other hand, comes first in the Bas-Rhin but tied with a first name quite similar to Leo.

The other most popular first names are: Louise, Emma, Alice, Lina and Anna. On the boy side, Léo, Arthur, Gabriel, Louis and Hugo. In the Grand Est, Louise and Gabriel come out on top.
