The Sarlat greenway

Sarlat, the Medieval City has its greenway! It does not go through the city center, it explores the gentle hills that stretch towards the Causse du Quercy. Pleasant, partially shaded, this greenway and a good excuse to do some sport, a relaxing day out walking and why not have a picnic along the Dordogne along the way? It is built on an old railway line, and you sometimes go through tunnels to the delight of children. The greenway is not a loop, it is a linear route of 35km, so plan to keep energy in your calves for the return, because in addition, a false flat will make you grit your teeth on the last miles!
