“I find it scandalous, but it’s hypocrisy on all levels at Nupes and La France insoumise”, estimated Tuesday, April 11 on franceinfo Julien Odoul, deputy for Yonne and spokesperson for the RN, after the reinstatement of deputy Adrien Quatennens. The deputy from the North, sentenced for violence against his ex-companion, was reinstated within the LFI group in the National Assembly. The LFI group “considers that the conditions for the reinstatement of Adrien Quatennens are met”according to a press release from the Insoumis.

“When you have left-wing elected officials who always brag about domestic violence, who want to wash more white than white, who are always in the vindictiveness of their political opponents and who do not apply their own principles that they are supposed to defend, it is true that it is quite distressing that for domestic violence we put a scarf or a veil on the person of Mr. Quatennens”he adds.
According to Julien Odoul, “unfortunately Mr. Quatennens can continue to exercise his mandate but”he thinks “that it would have been noble and democratically healthy for him to return to the voters”.
