“It’s barbarism!”

This Tuesday, October 10, 2023, M6 made the decision to continue broadcasting the documentary Stéphane Plaza: trip with my father despite recent accusations of violence against the host. A choice which obviously did not please some who also called for a rally in front of the headquarters of Channel 6. A few hours before the controversial broadcast of the documentary, Cyril Hanouna and his team took up the subject on the TPMP set.

Present alongside Valérie Bénaïm, Yann Moix was uncompromising. According to him, “vs“It is extremely doubtful to call into question the words of women who testified”. “As a precaution and out of respect for all the women who, in the evening, watch M6 when they have taken a beating from their husband or partner… I would have been director of M6, I would have avoided programming a documentary which is likely to make Stéphane Plaza someone interesting and a role model.”he decided.

“It’s barbarism”

And to continue: “If it was an ordinary show like he usually does, there would be no subject, but a show glorifying someone who women say hit them. Knowing that he “There’s nothing worse on earth than someone who hits a woman, it’s domestic barbarity, but it’s still barbarity.”

For Yann Moix, the internal investigation opened by the group is not enough. The reason ? “We know absolutely nothing about it,” he estimated. “It’s easy to say I’m launching an internal investigation, we can launch one every day. As a precaution and out of respect, I think that the signal that M6 would have sent would have been gentler, more intelligent, more respectful towards women who are also spectators of M6, rather than preserving the interests of Mr. Stéphane Plaza who come second only to the cause.” A clear opinion.
