“It’s good that he was released [du gouvernement, remanié lundi 4 juillet]. Now, justice must pass and pass quickly”indicates the deputy Nupes Sandrine Rousseau Monday, July 4 on franceinfo, about the former Minister of Solidarity, Autonomy and Disabled People, Damien Abad, targeted by an investigation by the Paris prosecutor’s office for attempted rape.
An “important” sign
“It is an important signal sent to womenadds the chosen one. It seems to take shape a real modus operandi of this minister, which consists in putting drugs in the glasses of the people he covets and then raping them. Sandrine Rousseau develops an identical argument for the case of the Secretary of State for Development, Francophonie and International Partnerships Chrysoula Zacharopoulou, targeted by three complaints for rape and/or gynecological violence.
“It is very rare to have complaints against gynecologists (…) This means that there is still a subject around his practice of gynecology.

The elected representative, however, insists on distinguishing these cases from that of the Deputy Insoumis Eric Coquerel, accused of “inappropriate behavior” by a former activist and figure of the “yellow vests”: “It is not, a priori, sexual violence”, points out Sandrine Rousseau. She recalls that an internal investigation was opened by insubordinate France: “We have to settle this because it’s abnormal that it made her uncomfortable”she says. “There will have to be something happening, but we are not in a crime.” The accusations against the chairman of the Finance Committee of the National Assembly relate, according to her, to “attitudes that do not fall within the scope of the law.”
