Tuesday November 14, Pascal Boniface, geopolitologist and director of the Institute of International and Strategic Relations, is the guest of 19/20 info. According to him, we must remain cautious regarding the images broadcast by the Israeli army.

Asked about the possibility of Hamas using hospitals as rear bases, Pascal Boniface, geopolitical scientist and director of the Institute of International and Strategic Relations, asserts, in 19/20 info, Tuesday, November 14, that “there is no information or confirmation, it is common knowledge according to the Israeli forces, it is not confirmed on the Palestinian side. And the UN agencies don’t confirm it either.”

“A regular justification”

According to him, it is “a regular justification on the part of Israel to say that they are required to hit the hospitals because the hospitals serve as a rear base for Hamas (…) For the moment, it’s a bit of word against word. For Pascal Boniface, there should be an international investigation to verify these facts. However, this turns out to be “impossible“, he believes. The geopolitologist also recalls that “international law prohibits bombing hospitals, but it also prohibits combatants from using hospitals as instruments of war.”.
