He is the idol of all generations… Who has never sung “How stupid”, “Goldorak”, “Long live the holidays”or “Whoa! The Liar”. With a significant number of hits to his credit, Dorothée is undoubtedly one of those artists who have left an indelible mark on the French.
An avalanche of pieces which adds to the fact that the singer also has a long career as a host behind her since the latter is best known for having been at the helm of Recreation A2 between 1978 and 1987 then Dorothée Club from 1987 to 1997.
Programs broadcast almost 30 hours per week, without forgetting the eight hours of live broadcast by Dorothée every Wednesday… A pace of life at 100 miles an hour to the extent that the young woman of the time went on to sell out shows and concerts.
A dazzling success that the latter agreed to comment on in 2015 with our colleagues at the magazine Gala : “It was career or family life. I favored the first. I couldn’t have both. And what didn’t happen, didn’t happen, I accept that”she had in fact declared, referring to the fact that she had never become a mother.
“I only remember the good times, I try as much as I can in any case. Stay in the sand, you might say? And why not…”she added.

“We never talked about it…”
Invited to the set of At Jordan’s this Tuesday, September 19, 2023, Dorothée’s agent answered several questions concerning the private life of her protégé. Indeed, after indicating that the 70-year-old singer lived in the countryside with her husband Vincent, the latter mentioned the fact that the couple did not have children.
“Dorothée unfortunately has no children. It is life that has ensured that she has no children,” declared Jean-Luc Azoulay. “We never talked about it because there is a kind of modesty about it that I respect,” concluded the producer.
