“This is not an immigration law, it is a regularization law”, asserted Nicolas Bay, executive vice-president of Reconquête. “This is the 22nd time that there has been an immigration law in France for 30 years and the observation is that there were 120,000 entries per year 25 years ago, now there are 300,000 titles of stay, plus 130,000 asylum seekers, plus unaccompanied minors, plus illegal immigrants… We are around 500,000“, he added. According to him, it is Gérald Darmanin “which has the record figure for mass immigration in France.”
