Tired of this endless war, tired of inflation (especially galloping in eastern Europe), are the Europeans abandoning Ukraine? In Slovakia, former Prime Minister Robert Fico, whose populist Smer-SD party won Saturday’s legislative elections, risks tilting the diplomatic balance of his country very clearly in favor of the Kremlin: if his party comes to power, Slovakia will no longer send “a single bullet” to Ukraine, the 59-year-old former communist recently declared.

Another subject: while the 27 decided this week to abandon a stricter anti-pollution standard for thermal cars, more and more voices are calling for a break in the European Green Deal. Is Europe turning its back on its ecological commitments?
