An investigation has been opened after two acts of sabotage committed in one day in the fan zone of the Château de Vincennes, franceinfo learned from a source close to the case, confirmed by the Paris prosecutor’s office on Tuesday July 30. According to the first elements of the investigation from a source close to the case at franceinfo, on Tuesday around 1am, the fibre optic cables that allow the broadcasting of the Paris Olympics events in the fan zone were cut for the first time at the level of the castle moats. Repaired that very morning, they were damaged again in several places the following night around 1am.
