Star host Sébastien Cauet, targeted by accusations of rape and sexual assault, is applying to the Paris commercial court to obtain an immediate return to the air on NRJ radio, according to franceinfo information obtained on Tuesday January 16 from of his lawyer Frédéric Lamoureux. “Sébastien Cauet and NRJ have not reached an agreement” at this stage indicates the lawyer for a return to the air of the host. His withdrawal was decided by mutual agreement on November 22.

Sébastien Cauet and his production company Be Aware request the execution of the contract with NRJ for an immediate return to the air. A first hearing on the procedure will be held on January 29 at the Paris commercial court. “It has clearly become unfriendly” between the star host and NRJ, explains a source close to the matter to franceinfo. Sébastien Cauet had worked for NRJ since 2010. For his part, Sébastien Cauet’s lawyer ensures that the host “has nothing against NRJ but is just waiting for his return to the air”. For its part, the radio indicates that it has no comment to make at this time.

The host faces four complaints, the last for “sexual assault” and the other three for rape and sexual assault. The investigation is now in the hands of the Paris prosecutor’s office. Last November, the host himself filed a complaint, revealed Franceinfo. He denounced “moral harassment” after tweets accusing him of having sent messages of a sexual nature to a minor.
