An unforgettable night. On December 17, in Châteauroux, Indira Ampiot was elected Miss France 2023 live on TF1 after a huge plebiscite from viewers and the jury. In the process, the one who succeeds Diane Leyre therefore chained the interviews and after being on the program “Touche pas à mon poste” on (C8), Saturday January 7, the fourth Miss France from Guadeloupe granted an interview to Nikos Aliagas for the magazine “50 Min Inside” (TF1).
An interview during which the beauty queen notably reacted to a video of her dancing with her grandmother. A particularly moving sequence since the beautiful Indira Ampiot struggled to hold back her tears. “You are going to make me cry”she dropped in front of the camera.
The reason ? Miss France 2023’s grandmother died last year after a battle with cancer. “She had five cancers, it was complicated. She passed on a lot of values to me. She was a strong woman. I keep his strength and his courage. She was a very brave woman.” said the 18-year-old before sharing a fond memory: “She saw me as Miss Basse-Terre. The day after my election, I went to see her with the crown and the sash. Since she had brain metastases, she didn’t realize what was going on. When she saw me there, she realized She looked at me and said ‘you’re too beautiful'”, remembered the beauty queen. A moving testimony.
