No injuries are reportedonly some material damage to the driver’s car. Soizig still felt a hell of a fright :
The tree fell on us, we understood nothing. It has a funny effect. I had my son on the passenger side, so I immediately turned to him to see if he had anything. We’re doing very well but it’s still impressive.”

Slow traffic
After the accident, the firefighters intervened to finish uprooting the trunk of the tree, using chainsaws. Before the technical services of the town hall of Rennes intervened to then clear the branches and leaves on the ground, traffic on the Boulevard de la Liberté was slowed down. City police reduced transition from two paths to one. Buses passing through this street have been diverted the time of the intervention of the firefighters, that is to say about thirty minutes.
