If a report “suspicion of the presence of bedbugs in the driving cabin” on line 8 of the Paris metro was carried out last Wednesday, the subsequent assessments concluded that there were no pests in the trains indicated. “No presence of bedbugs was noted on the train”concludes the RATP.
RATP specifies that each report is “taken into account” and is the subject of a “processing which may extend to the release of the equipment concerned from the commercial department in order to be appraised by a specialized service provider”. The carrier adds that trains “are not places where bedbugs particularly thrive”.
