About 150 people gathered this Saturday, June 25 in Pau. The procession left from Place Verdun and marched through the streets to warn of the difficult situation of health establishments in Béarn. They denounce the working conditions, the lack of personnel and the closures of the services, in particular of emergency.
The rally was originally scheduled for last weekend, June 18, but it was canceled due to the heat wave. The call, launched by the CGT of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, was followed by the staff of the health establishments of Mauléon, Pau, Orthez, Oloron as well as by the retirement homes of Pontacq, Jurançon and Nay.
