It’s shopping time! Our team selects for you new products to put you – or not – in your mouth.
Eggnog… without chicken!
Eggnog is for you synonymous with the holiday season, but you would like a product of non-animal origin? The Earth’s Own brand answers this need, for a limited time, with its Oatmeal Nog. Made from the company’s oat milk, the product is successful. Its texture is creamy and its taste, comforting, with a mixture of spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon and turmeric. To be enjoyed as is (we preferred it hot than cold), with a hint of your favorite alcohol or in your morning coffee.
Vegan, nut-free, free of carrageenan (a food additive used as a stabilizer), and GMOs
$3.49 (946 ml), available at grocery stores
Two comforting teas
1/2
These two fragrant teas, with subtle aromas, managed to breathe that little dose of comfort into a cup that feels so good when the cold sets in for good. DavidsTea’s cinnamon oolong tea is dosed well enough not to alter the original taste of these leaves from Taiwan. With its high caffeine content, you may want to avoid it in the evening, but it’s a stimulating tea that you enjoy during the day. In addition, it subscribes to the Ethical Tea Partnership, which helps support a fairer and more sustainable industry. The Starry Night blend, from Camellia Sinensis, is a skilful blend of flavors each as comforting as the other — black tea, rooibos, spices, chocolate, red fruits and a hint of mint —, which has revived our senses gently during these precious moments of relaxation.
DavidsTea Cinnamon Oolong: $14.98 for 50g, in store and online (sold in bulk)
Camellia Sinensis Starry Night: $12 for the 65 g sachet, in store and online

Juliette & Chocolat’s chocolate delicacies are now more accessible than ever, thanks to a partnership with Metro. For the occasion, the chocolate factory, which has 10 addresses in the greater metropolitan area, has developed a range of products sold in grocery stores that will satisfy your sugar cravings. The ready-to-bake cookie doughs (available in two flavors), which you simply separate into a few portions and pop in the oven for a few minutes, have been a real hit at home. The cookies are soft and delicious. As for the chocolate-caramel flakes, available in six flavors, be warned: it’s hard not to empty the bag once started!
