The city of Nice has called on two breeders from the Riviera to install barnyard animals directly in the playground of La Roseraie nursery. Something to delight children while making them aware of biodiversity.

Loïc Perrot has managed the “Histoire de Poule and Co” breeding farm in Nice for 40 years with his wife. His goal with this demonstration, show the diversity of French chicken breeds. “It is the biodiversity that I expose through my hens”explains the farmer. “There are still 40 and 50 breeds in France, some are endangered so it is up to us to work to maintain all of this for future generations”he continues.
