In Ukraine, five civilians were killed in new bombings in the Kharkiv region on Wednesday May 1. In Moscow, the Russian army displays drones, rocket launchers and tank carcasses taken from the enemy.

A link with the Second World War

However, does this reference to Hitler’s Germany apply to countries which supply weapons to Ukraine today, such as France? “All Western military equipment, regardless of country of origin, is delivered to the Nazi regime in kyiv and is perceived as Nazi weaponry.“, says Andrey Loubtchikov, from the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Although much of this equipment had already been on display in Moscow for two years, this year the link is more strongly marked with the Second World War.
