224,713 people exactly are registered on the electoral lists in Mayenne, this is 1,000 more than in the last elections, the regional ones in 2021. The 356 polling stations in the department will be open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.
If you have lost your envelope with the professions of faith, don’t panic: ballots are available at the entrance to the polling stations. At the entrance, there will also be hydroalcoholic gel. Regarding the health protocol, wearing a mask is not compulsory to vote but the Mayenne prefecture recommends wearing it. There will also be no gauge inside or control of the vaccine pass.
Last figure, still unknown for the moment: the abstention rate. It has been steadily increasing since the 2007 presidential election. It had climbed to nearly 21% of the vote during the second round in 2017.
