After Jean-Michel Blanquer’s announcements on the new health protocol in schools on the eve of the start of the new school year in Ibiza, the inter-union of National Education staff called for a symbolic gathering in front of the Academic Inspectorate of Savoy. The mockery is linked to the Minister of Education after the #IbizaGate. To mark the occasion, the teachers therefore disguised themselves as holidaymakers at the beach, to ironically denounce the holidays of Jean-Michel Blanquer. But behind the laughter, we find teachers tense and breathless by this situation.
“We laugh yellow”
If the unions denounce a protocol that is out of step with reality and a cruel lack of means in Education with ironyin reality, the unions wanted to defend the public service and the sustainability of the profession: “We really want to warn once again about the state of public schools in France, which is in a disastrous state, which concerns all of society, since there we have reached a point of no return. . We have a government that is there to torpedo its own public education department.”
It’s lunar, it’s grotesque, seriously there we laugh yes, but it’s not right – Lolita, teacher in the 1st degree
For this teacher in the first degree, the problem is not so much the protocol : “Yes, the new protocol makes life easier for parents who don’t stand in endless queues in pharmacies. Whatever happens, the children, they are there, their parents are sick, their brothers and sisters are sick. They are in good health. contact and we have to welcome them, without means. Whether the protocol is lightened or not. We cannot function if we do not have staff to welcome these children.
And it is not only in Chambéry that the unions that the teacher unions meet, In Annecy, this Thursday, they also took to the streets to protest against the health protocols put in place by the government and the #IbizaGate. They were about twenty.
The rallies were not limited to the Pays de Savoie, last night the unions came dance in front of the Ministry of Education in Paris.
