in full prime, Fauve Hautot makes a radical choice between Ines Reg and Natasha St-Pier

It’s the start of the Dancing with the Stars bonus which will have offered its share of emotions. And for good reason: the April 12 show is dedicated to the personal song that marked their lives. The seven couples still in the race thus had the choice of the music to which they would perform on the floor in order to reach the semi-finals.

And to start the evening, Natasha St-Pier offered a wild paso doble on the tube “Like a prayer” by Madonna. A successful performance but perhaps not worthy enough of a future semi-finalist according to the judges. Fauve Hautot notably felt that the Canadian singer was too much in thought and wasn’t living the moment enough. Result: three “8”s and a “6” from Chris Marques, who shared the same point of view.

“That’s dancing!”

And to continue the evening, the production chose to have Ines Reg dance, in second position. And for his first dance since his major malaise last week, the comedian chose a song whose lyrics seem indeed echo what the artist experiences since several weeks : “So” by Barbara Pravi. “There, there, there, there, that is who I am. Here I am, even if stripped bare I am afraid, yes. Here I am in the noise and in the silence. Look at me, or at least what remains of it. Look me, before I hate myself. What to tell you, that the lips of another will not tell you”, said the performer in her song representing France at Eurovision in 2021. And it was on a paso doble that Ines Reg performed on the track. A powerful and moving performance from which the comedian had difficulty recovering, just like the judges.

And proof of this performance, Fauve Hautot awarded the first 10 of the season! “You live your movement to the fullest, obviously it’s a 10, that’s dance”, said the professional dancer. And Mel Charlot didn’t have much to complain about either: “DALS pushes you to understand our world and to find the dancer and artist in you. In vulnerability, we find strength and truth.”marvels the Canadian, who however gave a simple “8”.

In the end, Ines Reg collected 35 points for her performance, compared to 30 points for Natasha St-Pier. Enough to once again draw attention to the rivalry between the two womenplagued by incessant controversies since the start of the season.
