The joint joint commission (CMP) meeting on the immigration bill was concluded on Tuesday, December 19. Yoann Gillet, National Rally deputy (RN) du Gard and vice-president of the RN group in the National Assembly, was part of this CMP. “This text is not perfect, and we will still have to go further, but we have obtained a certain number of measures which are important”welcomes Yoann Gillet in the 19/20 info.
LR elected officials were “inspired” by the RN’s proposals
In the CMPthe text was negotiated between the majority and Les Républicains (LR). For Yoann Gillet, the elected officials LR are “inspired” proposals from RN in the negotiations on the text. The deputy RN cited among the measures “important” of text “the forfeiture of nationality for dual nationals who attack the police, national priority, the reestablishment of the offense of illegal residence, the tightening of the conditions for granting certain residence permits and for family reunification , but also the ban on reductions in transport for illegal immigrants.
