Meryl Streep upset on the set of 8 p.m. on France 2

“When she came, she was particularly kind”revealed Laurent Delahousse not without a touch of emotion. “In addition, she was very moved because I played a passage from Maria Callas that she listened to when she was little and she started crying. I was very uncomfortable. It was an emotion that I wasn’t expecting. When I saw it, she is a very good actress, but I saw that there was something sincere and it was very unsettling. On the 8 p.m. set, we’re not used to that. She was very powerful, very strong and then she is a woman that I admire. I remain a little boy, I continue to be one when I see personalities for whom I have a form of admiration. Seeing them arrive is always something quite dizzying”. Touching confidences.
