A look, a voice, a presence. After having sold 200,000 copies of“You just have to believe”, in 2017, Hoshi returned in 2020 with “Rising sleep” before proposing “Creepy star”, the album she could not defend on tour due to COVID + 13 new songs.
Hoshi answered our phone call (we had arranged the meeting!). Every afternoon of the week at 5:22 pm it’s “22 v’la le 24” on France Bleu Périgord. We are trying to reach artists that we love in Dordogne, who have marked 2021, who will come to Dordogne in 2022 …
At the end of the line, she is touched by the love that France Bleu Périgord has for her, but also (obviously!) By the love of the public. In his personal texts, many are found. They thus become universal: “That’s why I make music, it’s to share it and that my stories can reach people”.
Hoshi’s aura continues to grow in the galaxy of the new French scene. She’s writing the rest already. She’s making a rapper’s album right now.
Creepy star, always freaked out
The “creepy star” (Hoshi means star in Japanese, editor’s note) is always freaked out, but finds inspiration there. Hoping that she comes to Dordogne, which she does not know.
