From June 26, 56 champions will compete to win the title of “greatest master of midday masters”. And on Saturday July 2 at 11:15 p.m., a documentary will be devoted to Jean-Luc Reichmann, to discover the man behind the host.
His life begins with a handicap: an angioma on his nose. This earned him the nickname “The stain” at school, from the children but also sometimes from the teachers. “I overcame this trauma through humor and the love of my loved ones.says Jean-Luc Reichmann. I think today that it’s our little differences that will make the difference, we have to do something positive with it.”

Before becoming a star of the small screen, it was in free radio that Jean-Luc Reichmann cut his teeth. He was 21 and still living in Toulouse. His life changed on November 9, 1989: “The day the Berlin Wall came down, people called me on the phone and said, ‘Are you available to do the voiceovers for TF1 trailers?’ That was the trigger. That day was the first time people discovered my voice on TF1, where I would remain the voice of trailers for ten years.”
He also becomes the voice-over of several games, in particular those of Nagui, of advertisements. Until he was asked to host his own entertainment. Since 2013, he has played the commander of the miners’ brigade Léo Mattéi in the eponymous series, which has achieved very good audiences.
