My decision is secondary.

During your first extension, your decision dragged on a little and was announced at the end of May. Is the timing different?
I do not know. It was late May in 2022 because I didn’t know until May. If I know what I want to do, why hang around? But like I said, the most important thing is the titles. We won a trophy and we have a young group who want to win others. The team and the group are looking towards that. My situation, no one talks about it at the club, so it doesn’t interest many people. What the world cares about is that I help the team win trophies like I did today.

The coach said the team needs to improve. What progress must it make in view of the Champions League?
You always have to improve. The coach arrived with clear ideas, but a lot of ideas. It takes time to assimilate all this, no matter how good the players are. I think we’re starting to see some interesting things, I don’t know what you think it looks like from the outside? I think it’s more structured, offensively, we see the patterns, something is emerging, right? Maybe I’m crazy?

When I speak with him, he says that a good player must know how to play several positions. So I think I’m a good player (smile), I play several positions this year. Could this freedom that the coach offers you and this even more important role encourage you to stay at PSG?
