The journalist, for example, returned to sexism in the profession which, it would seem, she has never suffered. “I must admit that I have a huge chance. It’s that I never had the impression of being confronted with sexism”, she revealed to our colleagues when a user asked her “how do you respond to sexism in the workplace”. On the other hand, she admitted all the same to having experienced situations which could suggest the opposite, a few years ago.
Insulted, like everyone else…
“On the sidelines, when I was a young journalist, one day I was asked to give my text to another journalist who was a man. Because it was a subject about the army. And with my little voice of young girl that didn’t sound manly enough”, she confessed. Nevertheless, she assures us that “those days are over” and “the world is changing”. In fact, if today “there was an expression of sexism, there would be a reaction from other colleagues”.
In another series of questions, Anne-Claire Coudray, who framed Rachida Dati during an election night, addressed the subject of the insults and threats that she can sometimes receive on social networks. The journalist assures her, she is like all citizens. In other words, it too is the victim of some criticism. “It’s a bit like all citizens I want to say. Social networks are not always tender”she confides at first before admitting: “There are a lot of insults and very negative reactions when after an interview with a politician anyway (she pauses slightly: editor’s note)… that person’s activists won’t like it”. But even though she’s already been treated to “Le Peniste, Mélenchoniste, Macroniste”for her, it means a lot: “I tell myself that finally I did my job”.
