“I don’t want to cheat”

10 years spent in the famous red armchair. Indeed, if there were years when Jenifer needed to withdraw to recharge her batteries, the winner of the first season of the star Academyindeed spent ten years within The Voice and The Voice Kids. The artist judged that it was time to definitively close the door last October, when she announced her departure from the program during the final of the All-Stars edition of the tele-hook of TF1.

“It’s an adventure that has given me a lot humanly. There have been a lot of great moments for me on this set. It’s been ten years. I’ve experienced a lot of twists and turns. It’s probably the last time I am in this red armchair”, she announced not without emotion. A news that did not fail to sadden the fans of the singer. But if Jenifer made the choice to bow out, the choice would have been carefully considered, according to her recent statements to our colleagues from 7 Days TV.

“Mechanical” and “less fun”

During an interview, the pretty brunette indeed revealed the reasons that had pushed her towards new horizons. Moreover, the one who won the first season of the star Academy also took the opportunity to revive the hopes of some viewers. A return to The Voice would not be excluded… but it would not be for now.

“Why not ?”confided Jenifer to our colleagues before however specifying: “But I turned the page”. The artist thinks he has “runs its time” in The Voice. Especially since she felt she was becoming “more and more mechanical, that I was having less fun and thinking too much about what I was saying”. “I need spontaneity and I had less. I don’t want to cheat”, she finally concluded. A return may not be excluded, but that would not happen immediately.
