Should we welcome Afghan women? “No”replied Jordan Bardella, president of the RN, invited Wednesday October 25 on franceinfo. “I don’t see the added value for French society in welcoming people from Chechnya or Afghanistan”, declared the leader of the National Rally. Jordan Bardella also castigated the government’s immigration bill and defended the RN’s referendum proposal. “The immigration bill is one of the biggest calls for illegal immigration of the Fifth Republic. It is a bonus for illegality. It is not a text against immigration, it ‘is a text for immigration’estimated Jordan Bardella.

“Asylum has become an immigration channel in its own right. Two thirds of the 130,000 applications submitted last year were refused. Afghanistan, with regard to the right to asylum, is not a country at war, but in civil war. I don’t see the added value for French society in welcoming people from Chechnya or Afghanistan!”argued the far-right MEP.

The government’s immigration bill will be examined from November 6 in the Senate, a text for which the government is not certain of obtaining a majority. “I don’t think we can respond to France’s current migratory context with an ordinary law. If we don’t hold a referendum to engrave in stone the Constitution a ‘security shield’ to protect against immigration massive, then you will always find a judge or European case law to come and stop the expulsions”judged the president of the RN, who then defended his proposal for a referendum on immigration.

“The National Rally defends a referendum which will enter into the Constitution, namely the treatment of asylum in the embassies and consulates of the countries of departure, the systematic expulsion of foreign criminals and delinquents, and the recovery of control of our borders. State medical aid [AME] it’s over, solidarity must be reserved for the French”insisted Jordan Bardella.
