Towards a departure at midday and a return at night
The club has already reserved around twenty coaches and is now trying to find enough drivers available for that weekend. If he succeeds, three vehicles will be dedicated to the 200 Nantes stewards to drive them to the Plaine Saint-Denis, the others will be allocated to around 800 Canaris fans. For the time being, it is planned to have all the coaches leave at the same time, at midday on Saturday, in order to drive in a procession on the A 11 motorway. Supported by the police at height of the toll of Saint-Arnoult, in the Yvelines, vehicles will then be escorted to the approaches to the north bendarea reserved for Yellow and Green, with an expected arrival at around 7 p.m. at the latest.
At the same time, FC Nantes has started negotiations with the SNCF with a view to reserving 4,000 train seats. “We have indeed been contacted and we are still in discussion“, indicates a source close to the file at the rail carrier. The exchanges relate to several departures of TGV from 12 p.m. on Saturday, and a return in the wake of the match with trains that would leave the Parisian station of Montparnasse between 2 and 3 hours, on the night of Saturday to Sunday.
