The Covid-19 epidemic seems to have experienced a resurgence in recent weeks. Taking a third dose of vaccine is being considered and Jean Castex strongly encouraged the fragile people. What is the situation in other countries?
Several countries are considering the possibility of administering a third dose of vaccine, in order to counter the outbreak of Covid-19. Germany, favorable to this provision for fragile characters as well as caregivers, finally saw this decision applied to all citizens of the country. “The medical profession as well as the federal government and the Landers agree that anyone who received a vaccination six months or more ago can also receive a booster vaccination”, said the German Minister of Health on Friday, November 5.
While Italy has decided to make the same arrangement, the UK is only offering the third dose of the vaccine to people over the age of 50. The goal is to administer 10,000 doses before the end of the year holidays. In Israel, 45% of the population has already received a third dose, which would have avoided the saturation of hospitals.
