Finland are third in Group A, behind USA and Sweden.
The top four from each group of eight nations will reach the quarter-finals.

Latvia beat the Slovenians 3-2, while Kazakhstan defeated Slovakia 4-3 in a shootout.
Canada will face Switzerland on Saturday. The Swiss occupy the top of group B, one point ahead of the maple leaf.
