A young driver from Blainville who allegedly hit and then abandoned a 28-year-old pedestrian early Friday is accused of driving while impaired by alcohol.
Carlos Enrique Batres Ceballos, 23, appeared Friday at the Montreal courthouse.
He faces four charges, including dangerous driving causing bodily harm, driving while having a blood alcohol level at or above the legal limit and hit and run.
The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) was alerted around 4 a.m. Friday by 911 calls for a hit-and-run that occurred on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, near Beaubien Street, in the Rosemont borough – La Petite-Patrie.
