In the press release announcing his departure, the GF38 spoke of a Grenoble football monument. Alain Fessler hands over, after 23 years as president of the Grenoble club association. Former player, he was especially there when the club fell to the bottom, in CFA 2, after filing for bankruptcy in the summer of 2011. Without his perseverance the GF38 would certainly not be where it is today. .
