Axel Bauer is back in stores. Last November, the singer unveiled the single, It’s smart while a new album is expected for next spring.
An opus titled Radio London. Will his son, Jim be on it? Answer very soon! In the meantime, the finalist of the last edition of The Voice, will imitate his father. The 30-year-old musician has shared a new song, Our childhood dreams, on his social networks.
As a bonus, its subscribers were entitled to a clip to accompany the song. On the images, the singer also appears almost … unrecognizable! “The title speaks of the influence that our dreams can have on us while growing up. (…) In truth, I’m not bad at old, aren’t I?”, he wrote in the caption. The singer dressed up as an old man for the occasion.
This song, according to RFM, was co-composed with Jules Jaconelli. “It was originally composed for Slimane’s second album, Jim had written it because he found himself in the singer’s long career and his perseverance. He wanted to sing it for a while but encouraged Jim to keep it, idea that the latter will keep in a corner of his head until finally finishing it and singing it a few years later”.
Jim Bauer is preparing the release of his first solo album to be released in 2022.
“Jim is a careful, courageous and persevering boy“, had indicated the interpreter of Cargo to the Parisian on his journey in The Voice. “I’m obviously happy with her journey in ‘The Voice’. I always advised him to take his time, I helped him by buying him equipment, but it’s his talent that will make the difference“.
