“Married at First Sight” is back on the small screen! For several weeks, viewers of the sixth channel have been discovering the first meetings and love stories of the candidates of the seventh season! And for the first time, a homosexual couple is among the cast! Indeed, Pedro, 40, and Jefferson, 31, two 79% compatible men have agreed to unite in front of the cameras of M6. A first look that viewers attended last week… And in the last episode broadcast this Monday, April 24, 2023, they were able to follow the rest of the wedding ceremony of the two lovebirds.

“We had a serious car accident”
On this occasion, Pedro gave an interview to our colleagues from TV Magazine to confide in particular on his difficult past. And for good reason, during his portrait, the man let it be known that he had experienced family trauma by referring to a violent father and a narcissistic perverse ex-companion.
“Even before I was born, my mother was a battered woman,” he thus confided to our colleagues before evoking a family drama that the 40-year-old upholsterer did not however mention during his portrait: “Coming back from Portugal on September 3, 1993, we had a serious car accident and I lost my sister, with whom I was really very close. This tragedy destroyed our family, my father sank into alcohol and the violence against my mother was terrible. After two hellish years, we managed to get away from him. I didn’t talk to him for two eight-year periods because I didn’t accept what he had put us through,” he explained.
A drama that is reminiscent of the terrible accident of Alicia, a candidate from the previous season. Indeed, the latter had moved viewers last year by evoking her older sister who died in a terrible car accident.
