Cancer of Charles III: his relatives take over
Cancer of Charles III: his loved ones take over – (France 2)
Following Buckingham’s announcement regarding Charles III’s cancer, the royal family planned to replace the king for all future public engagements.
King Charles III announced that he would continue as head of state, following Buckingham’s cancer announcement. The monarch, however, had to delegate his public commitments to those close to him, having visited the field 516 times last year. The king’s treatment began and he announced that he would retire from public life for a while.
“Too soon to have anyone else on the throne”
“If he has to step down for health reasons, William is very well prepared to replace him so it’s not a worry.”assures an English passerby who still believes that it “It’s too early to have anyone else on the throne”. Charles III has no plans to abdicate and intends to continue to carry out his sovereign functions. “But he will not be able to make a public appearance, other members of the family will take care of it”indicates Richard Fitzwilliams, specialist in the British monarchy.
