We have lost count of the number of times Raquel Garrido (former Cyril Hanouna columnist, now MP) and her husband, Alexis Corbière (also MP) have been accused of anti-Semitism. The two members of France Insoumise find themselves in embarrassment today, when we learn that their daughter, Inès, must answer for acts of apology for terrorism, before the courts.
“I’m anti-Semitic, I don’t give a damn”
Like the ad the Parisianthis January 17, 2024, at the age of 22, the young woman, very active on social networks, was placed in police custody, for messages broadcast on X last October and for a video in which she claims to be anti-Semitic, shared in november.
The video created a buzz, a month after the pogrom perpetrated by Hamas in southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which led to the bombardment of the Gaza Strip. We saw Inès, the daughter of Alexis Corbière and Raquel Garrido, saying: “I’m anti-Semitic, I don’t give a damn. I assume, I don’t give a damn“.
Victoria’s sister, who is no longer a minor, was therefore questioned by investigators from the brigade for the repression of delinquency against the person (BRDP) of the Paris judicial police for “apology of terrorism and public and direct provocation not followed by “effect of committing willful attacks on life”. A hell of a snub for the two elected officials from Seine-Saint-Denis.
“Criminal qualification is currently being assessed”
Our colleagues from Parisian add that an “investigation is underway following reports sent to the national center for the fight against online hatred (PNLH) by associations fighting against discrimination”, citing the Paris prosecutor’s office. In question, “remarks likely to have been made online by this young woman, whose criminal classification is currently being assessed” adds this same source.
