“Here London” by Axel Bauer, a tribute to his father Frank

Axel Bauer unveiled a few days ago the title “Ici Londres” where he pays homage to his father Franck, hero of the resistance and Radio London announcer who uttered the famous phrase 517 times “The French talk to the French”.

A voice that can be heard on the title thanks to a recorded conversation by the artist a few years ago. The 2 men were returning to Franck’s years in London when the latter explained to his son how he pronounced the sentences.

A conversation that took life with the title “Here London” whose the lyrics were composed by Boris Bergman, lyricist of Alain Bashung. He who also has a vibrant past with his family from that time, knew how to find the words.
