At 31, Hélène Parisot participated late in her first international individual competition.
The rain of medals continues for the French team at the European Athletics Championships in Rome. After that of Makenson Gletty in the decathlon, Thomas Gogois in the triple jump and Louise Maraval in the 400m hurdles, it was Hélène Parisot who brought a 13th medal to the French clan. The Frenchwoman was indeed adorned with bronze over 200 m, crossing the line in 22 seconds 63.
At 31, Hélène Parisot competed in her first major international competition as an individual with the French team. She has so far had three selections with the relays. After improving her best time three times in three races, she finished behind the Swiss Mujinga Kambundji (22”49) and the Briton Daryll Neita (22”50).
