Heavy goods vehicles prohibited on the A89
The Prefect of Puy-de-Dôme therefore took a decree with immediate effect prohibiting the circulation of heavy goods vehicles over 7.5 tonnes on the A89 motorway until further notice. A ban that applies in both directions between the Martres-d’Artière toll gate and the border with the Loire department.
“These heavy goods vehicles will be intercepted and parked or made to turn around according to the provisions“indicates the press release. Last Friday, the Prefect lowered the authorized speed by 20 km / h on the A89 in view of the unfavorable weather forecast.
