Health insurance opened the way on Thursday February 8 to an increase to 30 euros for consultations with general practitioners, against 26.50 euros currently. This announcement comes after a price negotiation session, the first since the Attal government took office, between the six liberal doctors’ unions and health insurance.
The latter “confirms that it is ready to finance a revaluation of the general practitioner consultation to 30 euros and revaluation measures specific to each of the specialties“These proposals are not without compensation.
Health Insurance therefore requests that the negotiations make it possible to reach a “ambitious overhaul of flat-rate remuneration”with the possibility of remuneration “entirely flat rate” for doctors who wish it.
She also asks for “improvements in access to care”in particular a reinforcement of the guards of liberal doctors “first part of the night”. Health Insurance also wants “a very ambitious action program on the quality and relevance of care”a way of demanding more commitment from doctors to stem the inexorable growth of health spending.
