Hard blow for Lilian Douchet. The candidate for the 2022 edition of Top chef
left his restaurant Lil’Home located in Bordeaux against his will as we learned on November 18, 2023 on the establishment’s Instagram page. The reasons ? A “violent behavior”of the “verbal abuse” and “threat” from the former candidate of the program of M6 towards his teams according to the latter.
On his Instagram page, Lilian Douchetwho spoke on behalf of his establishment, announced: “Following the unanimous wish of the restaurant team to stop working alongside them, Lilian Douchet had to leave the restaurant. We apologize again for the customers who had to endure the closure of the restaurant [au soir du 18 novembre]but the chef Lilian did not want to leave the premises and the employees were forced to protect themselves”.

According to the former candidate of Top chef,
the choice to close the restaurant would have been made even before his arrival and his possible bad behavior. “It makes me very sad that it has come to this.
