The former mayor of Ciboure, Guy Poulou, passed away this Friday, October 29. He was 80 years old. He had been mayor between 2001 and 2020 after taking over the town hall from the Socialists. During the last elections, he had chosen to leave his seat.
A right-wing man, he had been a member of the UMP and then of the Republicans. In 2021, it was the Abertzale candidate Eneko Aldana who won the elections.
