(Montreal) A man died from his injuries after an altercation which degenerated on a platform at Guy-Concordia station during the night from Saturday to Sunday
“Around 11:20 p.m., the 37-year-old man was attacked with a sharp object to the upper body” on the platform towards the Honoré-Beaugrand terminus, explains Jean-Pierre Brabant, spokesperson for the Police Department of the City of Montreal.
The victim was transported to hospital, where he died of his injuries. It’s the 29the murder of the year on the island of Montreal.
Investigators from the SPVM major crimes section are on the case to determine the causes and circumstances surrounding the event, explains Mr. Brabant.
There have been no arrests so far.
