Two incidents by firearm took place in Laval during the night from Friday to Saturday, leaving one injured.
Laval police were called for shots fired on Charles-Best Street, in the Chomedey district, on the night of Friday to Saturday. On the spot, she found cartridge cases, but no casualties. The investigation is in its early stages to try to clarify the circumstances of the event.
A second event then took place, still in Laval, this time on Elsa-Triolet Street. “For now, we do not know if the two events are linked,” said Sergeant Geneviève Major, spokesperson for the Laval Police Department.
Police found a person with gunshot wounds in the leg at Cité-de-la-Santé hospital. You don’t fear for your life. As these lines were written, the Laval Police Department was beginning to investigate this second event.
